Must be nice having the Labour Party in power doing good things instead of the Conservative Party who wanted to do bad things. Its good that lots of those obstacles identified that stopped the tories are not stopping labour.

Do you know why the conservatives didn't fix this during their term? Deregulation and pro-business and pro-construction policies *should* be their job. Or are the conservatives in Britain different from elsewhere?

Lots of Conservative backbenchers represent people in rural constituencies who are against any development, as they got theirs. So the backbenchers rebelled when there was any sign of this sort of thing, they actually brought in the onshore wind ban.

Gove tried to make plenty of reforms but his party wasn't with him
