London is like another country compared to the rest of Britain. To the rest of us outside London, it seems government only cares about the south east of the country.
There was a time when Leeds had loads of rails and train stations.
Thank goodness for Beeching, or we would have been able to do a Docklands Light Railway in many cities. Terrible to have clean, quick, convenient transport.
